Tell me a little bit about yourself…<\/h3>\n

I am a single mother of two and I am currently working as an Office Manager in Wellington. I am very committed to furthering my own career and utilising the skills I have learned to make an impact in my industry.<\/p>\n

How did you hear about The Career Academy?<\/h3>\n

I heard about The Career Academy through the Bookkeepers Association.<\/p>\n

What course did you study?<\/h3>\n

I studied the Certificate of Bookkeeping.<\/p>\n

How has your course helped you with your career\/employment\/work?<\/h3>\n

I was previously doing volunteer work and the course at The Career Academy allowed me to transition\u00a0to working\u00a0in my desired field. The course was extremely straightforward and gave me a great foundation to pursue my goal of opening my own business.<\/p>\n

What did you enjoy the most about studying at The Career Academy?<\/h3>\n

I really enjoyed that I could complete the course at my own pace from the comfort of my own home. As a single mum who is opening her own business, it is essential that I have flexibility when studying and the career academy provided me with this.

\nI also found the student discussion board resource extremely helpful as it provided engagement with a community of students working towards similar goals.<\/p>\n

What is your biggest achievement…what are you most proud of?<\/h3>\n

My biggest achievement has been completing the Certificate in Bookkeeping through The Career Academy. My time at The Career Academy has given me the confidence to work towards opening my own business and pursuing further study at The Career Academy.<\/p>\n
