What is the Career Centre?

The Career Centre is an exclusive service which is available to all students of The Career Academy. As a student of The Career Academy you are able to access the Career Centre both during your study and after completion. Once you finish your studies, you are able to access the Career Centre for a further month.

How can the Career Centre help me?

The Career Centre can help you with the following services:

CV review (one on one feedback) + career advice
LinkedIn setup and review + mock interviews
Access to vacancies across a variety of industries

How do I access the Career Centre?

If you are a Totara user – then you will see a Career Centre icon on your dashboard once you have logged in. Through here you will be able to access all Career Centre related information. If you are a Moodle user – unfortunately you will not have access to the Career Centre via your learning portal. However, if you join our exclusive Facebook Group – Career Centre, you will receive notifications on current vacancies – just ensure you have the notifications switched on for this, otherwise you might miss out on important updates.

Do I have to use the Career Centre?

No, not at all. This is completely optional. The Career Centre is a complimentary service that is available to all The Career Academy students. We want to support you along your journey and if we can assist you in your next big step in your career – then that’s awesome!

Absolutely! The Career Centre builds great affiliations with employers across multiple industries. Vacancies can range from paid employment – full time, part time and casual work right through to volunteer work – to help you gain some hands-on experience within your given industry. The Career Centre updates vacancies on a regular basis and all roles are advertised via our learning platform Totara and/or our exclusive Facebook Group – Career Centre.
